There is no best faction, it just depends on what playstyle you prefer. If someone tells you there is a faction that wins more than others, remember that's specific to a particular server, and is not an intrinsic property of the faction. A faction that often steamrolls on one server might often lose on another server. The Public Test Server (PTS) is a separate Planetside server that hosts experimental builds of the game with new changes and additions, for testing purposes before they are applied to the live servers. Sep 10, 2014 · Planetside 2 has also plugged straight into that bit of my brain which needs team work. Yes, the game doesn’t really come alive with random play, as much as I do like to just jump in and run around with the sprawling “zerg” of the front line.
